The International Summer Program at ITESO aims to provide students with a home-based internationalization experience by offering courses taught jointly by an ITESO faculty member and a faculty member from another country, who bring different methodologies, approaches, and perspectives to teaching.

This program offers courses in two formats: face-to-face intensive courses lasting four weeks, and virtual courses lasting eight weeks, with each instructor teaching half of the course. Courses may be taught in English, Spanish, or both languages.

More information:  Coordinación de Cooperación Académica.

The Short-Term Academic Mobility Program (Moves) aims to strengthen international academic mobility for ITESO faculty. A key feature of this program is its reciprocal nature, as it takes place over one week at each participating institution. During this period, the program seeks to foster collaboration among academics from the participating institutions.

Each teacher will travel to the partner institution for one week of the corresponding semester and collaborate in the partial design and teaching of a course.
During your stay:

  • You will teach a class,
  • You will meet with other members of the faculty to discuss possible future projects,
  • You will offer a lecture open to the community, among other activities.

It is important to note that the faculty members' travel dates at each institution should not coincide. Furthermore, the faculty members are expected to organize a virtual activity that fosters collaboration between their own students and those of the other university. ITESO will cover the cost of the visiting faculty member's airfare and the accommodation and meals for their own faculty.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Establish contacts between ITESO professors and students with international professors.
  • Promote global and international curricula.
  • Promote joint teaching programs. Integrate activities with students from universities in different countries.
